Senior Manager, Equity Administration

We are searching for a talented, analytical and experienced Senior Manager in Equity Administration to guide our internal finance and payroll teams, including clients, in managing equity and share incentive programmes as offered to our external employees. This role shall report to our Head of Finance and form part of the Finance and Payroll teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for any equity and share incentive matters for our clients’ employees
  • Ensure equity programmes are compliant with the applicable laws of international jurisdictions through liaising with internal and external legal and tax experts
  • Project lead the set-up, implementation and execution of global equity and rewards products as a separate solution within GoGlobal where necessary
  • Act as subject matter expert related to global equity and share incentive solutions under Employer of Record setting and provide advice to clients where necessary
  • Ensure that the taxation applied to the Employer of Record population is in conjunction with the local and international tax laws
  • Support and advise our internal payroll and finance team and work closely with outsourced service provider to ensure accurate posting of income and withholding of taxes associated with employee equity and share incentive transactions
  • Process regulatory filings and reporting of stock and share awards and work with external party where necessary
  • Maintain equity database integrity and ensure accuracy of employees’ data
  • Lead and address any equity administration inquiries promptly, including internal company-wide equity communications and training
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes for equity transactions
  • Where required, maintain SOX compliance, and assist with audit exercises by internal and external teams
Any other duties as and when required


Requirements

  • Minimum 5-8 years of equity administration experience, including reporting, reconciliations and payroll; experience in an Employer of Record industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Equity Incentives Solutions in Big 4, global management consultancy or law firm, or similar scale of corporate with exposure to global advisory projects preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a Tax, Legal and Business HR related field of study
  • CEP/CPP certification preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of many different types of equity programmes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Has a very good understanding of tax and accounting principles relevant to Equity Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Analytical, strong organization skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
