About the job
Responsibilities
Established in 28 locations worldwide with 4,000 employees, SGSS provides a full range of securities services that are adapted to the latest financial markets and regulatory trends. Within the Coverage Department of SGSS, the Middle-East sales develops the NBI with a portfolio of clients/prospects and proactively markets all the products and services of the Securities Services business (clearing / custody, middle office, collateral management, negotiation table) with Banks, Financial Intermediaries and Institutional Clients (Asset managers, asset owners, sovereign institutions, supra-national).
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Establish the commercial prospecting plan based on the strategy defined by the Products and Marketing teams and validated by your manager
- Implement direct prospecting actions or in cooperation with other SG departments (including Coverage SG)
- Develop relationships with prospects in your portfolio
- Participate, in close relation with the RFP team, to response to RFP launched by your prospects
- Present the SGSS service offer
- Ensure the promotion of SGSS service offers and the representativeness of SGSS during market events
- Coordinate with international offices during cross-selling or joint selling of services
- Supervise contracts and hand over to Relationship Managers when starting new clients
- Identify new opportunities for services and products
- Assist the Products and Engineering teams in the development of new products or the improvement of existing ones
Profile Required
Studies & experience:
- Master’s degree in engineering or business school
- 5+ years of experience
- Fluency in English
- Arab and French would be appreciated
- Commercial function, financial services and negotiation
- Commercial and interpersonal skills (argumentation - negotiation)
- Technical skills on SGSS products and services
- Analysis skills
- Ability to identify new markets
- Team spirit
