Job Title: Media Planning Specialist

Role Objective

  • Implementation of the tasks of media planning and procurement to contribute to the marketing and promotion of the programs and initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center in a manner that serves the achievement of the desired marketing results and outputs in line with the specific needs, goals, schedules and budgets. A specialist in media planning implements media campaigns, monitors their progress, and contributes to measuring their effectiveness, in order to develop plans for improvement and development, in order to serve the achievement of the strategies and priorities of the specific department and the center as a whole.

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Plans and strategies Executing plans and strategies for media planning and purchasing advertising space in order to market and promote the programs and initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center through various media and platforms to contribute to achieving the center’s goals and strategic priorities.
  • Cooperating and coordinating with the relevant Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center teams to identify and understand the needs and objectives of marketing, especially about media planning and purchasing advertising space, to contribute to developing plans and implementing projects that meet the requirements and priorities of the Center’s teams
  • Contribute to the identification of the appropriate and most appropriate media and the time periods for the implementation of marketing and media campaigns, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired results.
  • Being informed of the latest developments in the media, carrying out tasks of analyzing and using research carried out by the competent authorities on marketing and advertising campaigns to raise results and facilitate relevant decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver requests for proposals in cooperation with the most important suppliers and competent institutions, and ensure that all inquiries and requests from institutions and suppliers are answered proactively.
  • Reviewing, evaluating and negotiating the offers submitted for the purchase of media space by the relevant suppliers and institutions with a view to identifying and selecting the appropriate offers.
  • Provide recommendations on procurement proposals and final offers in cooperation with the concerned Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center teams to ensure selection of the best procurement offers.
  • Managing and following up on obtaining the required approvals by the concerned center teams to ensure the implementation of procurement plans in accordance with the set objectives and budgets.
  • Follow up on the implementation of all media campaigns and collaborate with the team to develop appropriate solutions and plans for potential implementation problems and other related issues.

Qualifications, Experience Criteria
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the media field, or in the field of marketing or equivalent. Preferably have experience in media planning and in purchasing advertising/media space.
