In This Role You Will

  • Support daily managing of master & reference data, including data consolidation, matching & merging, approval workflows and tasks, managing relationships & hierarchies, and other MDM-related activities.
  • Support daily managing of data quality rules, data discovery & profiling, data standardisation and cleansing, DQ checks, issue reporting, resolution workflows, scoring, monitoring & reporting on data quality.
  • Support daily management of a business glossary, data classification and labelling, information lifecycle management (incl. retention and archiving), policy compliance & risk management, managing business & technical meta data, and data lineage.
  • Keep up to date with latest advancements and trends in Information Governance.
  • Expand knowledge of concepts and technologies related to Information Governance.
  • Share the knowledge acquired with the rest of the team members to grow and excel as a team.
  • Lead the effort in historical master data consolidation to make sure that the data can be integrated across the systems and that the business is using the best possible data in making important business decisions.
  • Support data integration efforts from various companies and systems in GAC Group by conducting data mapping and various other data-related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that data quality issues are identified, and work to continuously improve the same in collaboration with appointed Data Stewards.

Job Requirements

  • An eye for details, ability to detect issues in data, and decisiveness in correcting the identified issues.
  • Strong self-organising skills, taking an initiative and ownership in identifying and solving data issues.
  • Strong documenting skills.
  • Experience in working in agile development environments (Kanban, Scrum) would be a plus.
  • Expert Excel user with an ability to manipulate data for the purpose of data comparison, detecting duplicates and data quality issues.
  • Experience in using Informatica (MDM/DQM/EDC/AXON) or similar platforms would be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL querying would be a plus.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Documentation skills.
  • Cultural awareness within a multi-cultural corporate environment.
  • Good English spoken language skills are essential.
  • 1+ years of related working experience
