Randstad is currently partnering with an SA Government Department to recruit multiple experienced administrative officers to assist with an upcoming project in a high-volume working environment

This Department is growing and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to work on a temporary contract. These assignments have a high potential to extend beyond.

The Administration team provides support services to enable the efficient operation of the wider team function.

Key Accountability's For This Role Include
  • Provide high level administration support to the branch e.g., coordination and scheduling of stakeholder meetings, document maintenance and development and dissemination of routine correspondence
  • Provide confidential support services by effectively scheduling tasks to produce accurate and high quality documents and transcripts, and by keeping appointment dairies, monitoring telephone calls, attending to enquiries and following up matters as required.
  • Update records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly, and accessible
  • Collect and compile information to support the development of documentation and reports
  • Provide a personal telephone service to internal stakeholders by responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner and by directing enquiries to the appropriate area for attention.
  • Taking minutes of meetings, drafting of agendas, letters, internal reports and correspondence.
The Ideal Candidate Must Demonstrate
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance
  • Has availability Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week
  • Be available for an immediate start
  • Provide a high level of customer service and comprehensive administrative support to internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • High attention to detail
  • Effectively work under pressure whilst working with a high volume of work and ensuring deadlines are met
