This Position exists to perform engineering tasks efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.
Key Accountability Areas
Receive the non warranty work /service orders , create the under warranty service order for customer complaints SAP for , study the service order's requirements , indentify the required resources (material , manpower , time etc.) .
Check the avaialbility of required material in stock and other resources required for service order .
Coordinate with customer for scheduling the site visit .
Arrange to visit the site as per schedule agreed with customer , perform the required inspection or testing in order to analyse the problem , provide solution or prepare defect report and give recommendation for further actions .
Assist customer technician to arrange his site visit .
Prepare the site visit report and collect customer feedback .
Consume the resources (material , manpower , time etc.) used against the service order and confirm the order SAP.
Issue the non conformity report to purchase for the material found defective within warranty period .
Maintain records of customer services and prepare monthly customer services report .
Provide inputs for improvement in product based on complaints and feedback from customers.
Role Accountability
• Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively achieved.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
• Comply to related policy & procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field Work Experience 2 to 5 Years Technical / Functional Competencies Accountable Adaptability Communication Conflict resolution Creativity Initiative MS Office Teamwork Time Management Well Organized Work under pressur
