The Senior Basic Software Engineer will participate in the assigned embedded software development projects for Lear in the automotive field. Reports to Software Platform supervisor.

The Role

Analyze customer and product requirements and develop software to meet the requirements.

Participate in the definition of software architecture.

Develop and maintain Software design documents.

Develop and configure BSW drivers and different services (OS, NVM,…).

Implementation of the assigned software modules according to LEAR development process.

Testing of the assigned software modules.

Listen, understand, and convey customer issues and requirements to product management and development teams.

Investigate customer and internal issues.

Support risk identification and assessment.

Assist development groups with issue tracking and debugging.

Required Qualifications

Engineering degree (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication...)

Minimum 5-year experience in embedded Software Development in automotive market

Experience with real time operating systems and multicore processors.

Experience with AUTOSAR, experience developing or integrating and configuring Automotive AUTOSAR stacks.

Mastery of C/C++ language. Other programming languages are valued (Python...).

HW knowledge and hands-on experience on board bring-up.

Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills.
