Job Description :-
Media Relations
Ensure Good relationships with local and international media through regular contact and ensure an updated media list Crease newsworthy and unique press release material highlighting the hotel services, products and other activities Ensure the hotel receives regular exposure on the local print and electronic media Liaise with Group Public Relations Agency and Corporate Communications Department to ensure hotel receives good exposure on international media Ensure the hotel exposure and other news related are achieved and well-ordered Plan and host media event When appointed, act as hotel spokesperson
Social Media
Monitoring daily conversation on our social media channels, including guest service situations Sourcing, creating and collating content for social media communities Identify user-generated stories Work on and create graphic documents, infographics & Slideshare for Facebook, Instagram (including Reels ) and other social media channels Coordinate content calendars with other editorial calendars across Marketing & Communications Under supervision of the Director of PR, assist in writing and scheduling posts Drafting day-to-day reactive communications for Instagram, Facebook and other channels
Advertising
Coordinate with the local creative team (in-house graphic design or agency) on all matters related to creative works, including translating specific requirements of the hotel (F&B, Rooms) into a comprehensive and specific brief
Digital
Assists with writing briefs for digital campaigns, analyzing results, and reporting on key learnings
Plays a key role in reputation management, keeping track of public attitudes and organizing responses across the hotel and restaurant-related platforms
Manages Local Mailing List Manager and communication schedule to this audience
Photography
Organize all photography sessions of the hotel (including major collateral photography, F&B Shots and press release photos) Ensure Filing systems and image library are maintained in a good order
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar role with luxury hospitality or in other luxury service environments is a strong asset.
A Degree/Diploma in Marketing is preferred
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
An Arabic speaker is preferred for this role
