Under the authority of the Technical Director, the job holder is responsible for: supervising and controlling the activity of the department; ensure that all the tasks entrusted to the department are carried out as soon as possible, in compliance with the budgets, costs and previously defined estimates; ensure the application of all the safety rules defined on the one hand by the legislation in force and on the other hand by the internal procedures for the activity of the establishment; manage all employee activity and ensure the adequacy of human and material resources; identify the training needs of employees so that they are always able to perform the tasks requested in the best possible conditions.

The Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech is located on an exceptional estate, in the heart of a century-old olive grove dominated by the Atlas. Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Technical Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Carry out qualitative and quantitative inventories;
Analyze failures in order to propose improvements;
Control all the maintenance and repair work necessary for the activity of the establishment;
Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance team interventions;
Optimize the facilities for intervention on the equipment and systems in service within the establishment;
Apply and enforce technical and legal requirements (compliance with standards and regulations in force);
Ensure the development and signing of maintenance contracts for the systems and materials used within the establishment;
Ensure compliance by suppliers with the clauses of the maintenance contracts for the equipment and systems used within the establishment;
Supervise and monitor the work carried out by the service provider companies responsible for intervening within the establishment in the field of activity concerned;
Check schedules to ensure continuity of service;
Facilitate monthly meetings with supervisors;
Validate precise and clear intervention reports;
Supervise the drafting of monthly maintenance reports and send them to the Technical Department;
Ensure the constant updating of the security procedures in force within the establishment.
Participate in the development of maintenance budgets, energy expenditure;
Advise other departments to inform them of their CAPEX in these matters;
Monitor energy expenditure in accordance with hotel procedures, and propose action plans in this area;
Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment entrusted to him and constantly seek the most suitable technical and economic solutions.
Qualifications :
Previous customer service experience required;
Professional presentation;
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills;
Particularly responsible and reliable;
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
The ability to work in a team ;
