Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Always offer a professional, friendly and endearing service
Supervise the operational activities of the Concierge service;
Implement directives, policies and procedures within his department;
Meet daily with your team to discuss current key activities;
Develop the schedule of the concierge team taking into account the occupation of the hotel;
Supervise the concierge team;
Conduct employee selection interviews and validate them by its N+1;
Prepare the business training plan for employees and monitor the results of the latter;
Decide on disciplinary actions and validate them by his N+1;
Manage the absences and leaves of its teams;
Evaluate all concierge staff annually;
Ensure compliance with health and safety rules;
Receive customer files from the reservation, before their arrival, and read them;
Offer a personalized service: meet customers on their arrival to present and sell them the services and internal services of the hotel;
Control the luggage on arrival and departure of important customers or large delegations;
Delegate the processing of customer information requests to concierges;
Control and validate the solutions proposed by the concierges in order to ensure that the client is always favored instead of the proposed service provider (price negotiation, etc.);
Personally handle customer complaints to promote customer satisfaction;
Control the customer cardex drawn up by the concierge;
Check and follow the delivery of parcels or messages to customers, on time, by the versatile concierge service in the villas, by checking the consignment book.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications :
2 years of prior experience in Front Office management
5 years of experience in hotel management
French and English language proficiency
Knowledge of a third language is an asset
Knowledge of the Arabic language is an asset
Prior experience using a PMS system (Opera)
Ability to use Microsoft Windows applications
A university degree in a related discipline
Professional presentation required
Pronounced interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Particularly responsible and reliable
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a cohesive team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
