As a Payroll Officer, you will handle the payroll process of specific Mantu entities, by implementing and following internal processes and tools. You will join the HR group department, an international and multicultural group of HR specialists.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with external payroll providers for ensuring timely processing of the payrolls for multiple entities
Responsible for full payroll process, from payroll input to salary, tax, and social security payments, tax authorities, and social security institutions according to local legislation
Coordinates and resolves discrepancies and irregularities in pay with appropriate parties
Contributes to payroll vendor management and/or subcontractor management process
Responsible for implementation of payroll related changes announced by the organization
Collaborate closely with all relevant parties withing organization i.e. regional and country HR, Finance and external Payroll Vendors to ensure data accuracy
Ensure quality controls in the payroll process and update documentation, including reconciliation of results and audit checks
Responsible for working closely with finance department in order to clear balance sheets payroll accounts
Knows and understands the policies, procedures and processes for the department
Respond to all internal and external inquiries on payroll related issues, social insurance and taxation
Ensures following of the agreed payroll process and workflows, including keeping up to date of trackers and standard operating procedures
Contribute toward process improvement efforts to standardize Payroll processes across sites, leverage best practices, and reduce complexity
Participation in assigned payroll projects and working groups
Ideal candidate:
You have at least 1 year to 3 years of experience in Payroll, HR Analyst positions, or Finance
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
You are fluent in English and able to use it as your main working language
Comfortable with processing payroll for high level of employees
Comfortable with global accounting and accounting entries linked to payroll
Knowledge of standard office applications (Excel);
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Highly action orientated and motivated, displaying a strong sense of urgency
Exhibit problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and energetic approach
Commitment to honesty, integrity and quality with a high work ethic
