Positioning and Fundraising
Context analysis: Ensure ACTED has an up-to-date understanding of the country’s socio-economic situation, (donor) trends, needs and gaps, and who does what and where (3W);
Strategy development and roll out: Take a lead role in developing and reviewing programme strategies and identifying strategic opportunities for expanding ACTED’s work in the country;
Networking, positioning and general representation;
Donor relationship and proposal development;
Grant Management.
Program Technical Support and Coordination
Technical Support;
Coordination.
Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation (AME)
AME Systems;
AME Implementation and Management.
External Communication
Management and Internal Coordination

Expected skills and qualifications
At least 4 to 5 years of working experience in insecure environments; preferably in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East;
Demonstrated communication and organizational skills;
Ability to train, mobilize, and manage both international and national staff;
Flexibility and ability to multi-task under pressure;
Ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing security environments;
Willingness to work and live in often remote areas under basic conditions;
Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office.
