Engine Design Director
We are looking for a highly technical and experienced Engine Design Director to work in KSA, Dhahran, for a leading marine engine manufacturer. The aim of the role is to lead engine design of low, medium, and high speed 2 stroke and 4 stroke marine engines.
Candidate Experience & Qualification Requirements:
15+ years experience in leadership roles within the engineering department of the engine manufacturing & design industry
Certified in CAD program such as AUTO CAD, SOLID WORKS, PRO-E, ANSYS, TEKLA 3D modelling.
Experience in Low, Medium, and High speed engine design.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Key Tasks:
Develop the design system including 2D/3D CAD system ensuring compatibility with Licensor's system and establish the standard of technology and drawings.
Provide input to develop and prepare designing plan and strategy for solicitation.
Develop the communication channels & protocols with Licensor to set-up Licensor's technical support.
Develop and manage cost reduction strategies of engine design to improve business competition and supervise execution.
Support troubleshooting the engine when various kinds of quality issues are arising from the production shop or customers such as vibration, noise, alignment.
Liaise with clients and end users to understand 2-stroke, 4-stroke engine and marine pump design objectives.
