Job Title: Driver Department: Transportation

White Dot Technical Trading is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our transportation team. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations in a timely manner. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including maintaining a clean driving record. Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues or concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Follow company policies and procedures regarding the transportation of goods and/or passengers. Collaborate with dispatchers and team members to optimize routes and schedules for efficient operations. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle at all times.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment on the road. Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods if required. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Skills and Competencies:

Defensive driving skills and a commitment to safety. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful driving situations. Strong time management and organizational skills. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Ability to adapt to changing routes and schedules. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
