- As the interactions with the healthcare community are very critical for Danone, so you will also be responsible for ensuring that our interactions with healthcare society are compliant with relevant local laws, regulations, and applicable Danone policies in the territory.
- As a Compliance manager, you will also ensure the organization is up-to-date on the latest regulatory developments, understand the implications of new laws, rules, and regulations, and stay in compliance with existing requirements.
- To also provide feedback on a range of matters, including HCS / BMS compliance implementation, auditing, financial risk, and updates on legislation across the assigned territory. The role requires a mindset to embed compliance in every context of the business.
- Support Compliance officer to develop and update MENA HCS policies.
- Roll-out training to all Danoners to create awareness on HCS policies and requirements and conduct periodic refresher sessions and workshops for the countries.
- Report and maintain all training records with HR and share the training records to the compliance officer.
- Timely review, approve and monitor all HCS activities by Danoners through online tools in your territory efficiently and in line with MENA guidelines.
- Populate, maintain, and administer the reports to countries on HCS activities.
- Ensure all proof of execution on approved activities are submitted on time on HCS activities and follow-up with countries on any deviations.
- BMS compliance policies and guidelines help in the roll-out the policies and guidelines, continuously raise awareness and keeping BMS compliance top-of-mind for Danoners.
- Conduct refresher trainings periodically for Danoners.
- Report and maintain all training records with HR and share the training records to compliance officer.
- Train all relevant business partners and their teams to ensure that they are all trained on BMS compliance.
- Monitor and update BMS compliance implementations and regulations in a timely manner to reflect changes in local laws in MENA region.
- Monitor compliance through regular field visits and liaise with business controllers to ensure that HCS/BMS compliance requirements are met.
- Act as the focal point for HCS/BMS Compliance requirements and support Compliance officer to conduct risk assessment exercises, identifying compliance gaps and propose corrective actions and ensure the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Act as a focal point for all internal and external queries with regards to HCS/BMS compliance with close coordination with Compliance Officer.
- Collaborate with Internal Control team in supporting the quarterly evaluation compliance controls and act on any feedback to improve the process in coordination with Compliance Officer.
- Generate annual and quarterly reports to Compliance Officer on any observed/detected violations of HCS/BMS compliance policies and guidelines in the MENA region.
- Ensure full readiness at all times for any HCS/BMS compliance audit.
- Day to administration of online compliance approval tool (Kissflow) including.
- Managing user matrix / HCP matrix / Updating all other relevant matrix linked to processes.
- Update the process execution to reflect the policy updates, if required.
- Train new employees.
- All employees in your assigned territory are trained on HCS /BMS Polices including new employees and record trainings with HR in SHARE portal.
- 100% timely review completed on HCS compliance process.
- 90% Proof of execution submission.
- All business partners, and their relevant teams in your assigned territory are trained on BMS Policy requirements. Minimum of one training session/ Year.
- Timely review and share assessment feedback on any updates in local laws in in your assigned territory.
- Collaborate and support Compliance Officer and Internal Control during Internal audit.
- Kissflow administration.
- Update user matrix - Adding new employees and remove accounts of employees who is leaving the company.
- Monthly update of HCP Matrix and other data linked to processes.
- Half yearly risk assessment of processes and provide feedback and recommendations to compliance office..
- Geographic scope of the job Egypt.
- Main internal relations The role involves regular interaction with internal stakeholders at the Middle East regional office, country teams, Danone Early Life Nutrition division and Group HQ.
- Main external relations The role involves interactions with suppliers, law firms, auditors, and distributors.
- Bachelor degree
- 3 to 5 years experience in a managerial compliance role, preferrably in a multinational FMCG or pharmaceutical environment
- General knowledge of compliance topics and methods of implementation.
- Strong understanding of the infant nutrition business and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of international and local laws governing HCS/BMS compliance.
- Experience in working with local authorities and enforcement agencies such as Ministry of Health.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Stakeholder management and proven ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
