- Push with the supplier to have the PFI
- Push with the supplier to have a schedule according with the requested ETA
- Track and coordinate shipments through shipping company.
- Make sure that the supplier sends the original docs to our office or via banking channel (in accordance with the payment term)
- Prepare all the local paper work (LC creation, application for domiciliation, predomiciliation,,,,)
- Establish the LOE for hazardous materials
- Verify, review and prepare bank and customs documents of incoming shipments.
- Adherence to local regulations and compliance, communicate documentation requirements with forwarder
- Liaise with 3PL service providers and freight forwarders
- Collaborate with suppliers, forwarder, operations planning as well as other functions to develop cost effective and efficient approach to minimize material cost impact.
- Data collection: benchmarking study to reduce costs in the logistics chain:
- Cost of freight,
- Port/airport storage costs,
- Demurrage cost
- Storage cost
- Follow and track the shipment until the arrival notice is received
- Following the customs clearance of the goods,
- Launch the customs check and follow it until it is deposited at the customs level
- Planned the final transportation to the warehouse
- Follow the guarantee lines each semester of the year
- Manage damaged goods process
