Process Engineer

Working as part of the engineering team, the Process Engineer shall be responsible for all process engineering activities required on Algeria Production projects, which may be new build facility designs, brownfield upgrades/relocations, or technical studies. Projects will predominantly consist of early production facilities, gas compression, mercury removal, and/or multiphase pumping and must ensure compliance with the technical terms of operations/contracts. The Process Engineer will be the focal point for HAZOP studies and will represent Expro as the process engineering focal point with clients, prospective clients, and/or vendors

Job Knowledge and Experience:

Mandatory.

• University Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum ten years experience as process engineer or proposals engineer within the oil and gas industry.
• Must be familiar with upstream oilfield technology, in particular oil/gas/water separation and treatment equipment
• Development of process designs from concept phase including initial selection of all unit operations required to meet process specifications
• Experience of process package integration and vendor document reviews
• Proficient in use of technical software packages such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyser, FlareSIM, and related software packages.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
• Previous experience with modular packaging of Early Production Facilities, Gas Compression and/or Multiphase Pumping
  

Advantageous.

• Previous experience in generating technical proposals and/or cost estimation
• Experience in the use of Auto CAD 2D or 3D, Smart Plant, databases and data management systems.
• Pre-commissioning/commissioning or operational experience on oilfield process plant
