Looking for Manager of Business Applications in Oman
- Lead the Business alignment, partnership, and demand management for the development of new IT initiatives/ Software applications within the business functions, to improve the existing business processes.
- Works closely with project sponsors, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, technical resources (internal and third-party vendors), senior management, and executives in the delivery and support of applications that ensure that the needs of business users are fully addressed, and continuous improvement is being achieved.
- Lead the Delivery of business solutions (applications); to support Information Management & digital Transformation for the business to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the business.
- Identify and capture ICT demand from the business stakeholders at the business and addressing the various needs, concerns, expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements, and creating project deliverable.
- Develop and enhance relationships with key stakeholders and providing application administrative support across applications as needed.
- Analyse and monitor service changes.
- Develop ICT services that provide sustainable value to the business.

- Deliver committed portfolio of projects within agreed constraints.
- Design, develop, build and test applications.
- Provide L2 live application support on a day-to-day basis.
- Oversee the successful roll-out of Business applications projects.
- Identifying opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or process improvement - focused on collaboration systems and internal tools.
- Partnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT management to provide a strategic vision for new and supported applications and create system roadmaps and business processes.
- Building a strong technical culture around the business systems that emphasizes technical excellence, rapid iteration, strong security, and frictionless user experiences.
- Manage application maintenance outsourcing & software contract agreements.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in leading cross functional teams and managing relationships with business customers in Energy, Oil & Gas, or similar organizations –in a downstream refinery.
- Experience in executing IT Projects for Oil & Gas customers (in the Oil & Gas Industry or other related fields.
- Experience of working with multiple third-party vendors.
- Experience overseeing design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Experience in refinery business applications like Meridium APM, Aspen Products, OsiSoft PI, SAP IS Oil, LIMS and RCM
