The Position

As a Finance Controller in Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Ensure quality control over all financial statements and reporting in compliance with IFRS and Morocco standards.
• Oversee month-end closing, ensuring compliance to local and corporate accounting manual as well as analytical entries accuracy (cost nature, activity type)
• Perform centralized controls to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial information
• Supervise legal annual audit process with Senior accountant and legal external auditors.

You will also be actively involved in the budget & rolling forecast processes in coordination with F&O Head, maintaining / creating analysis tools to support the decision making and make suggestions for operating profit, margins and costs optimization.

You will handle the financial controlling and reporting by:

• Monitoring and following-up with Line of Business on functional budget and Direct Marketing Investments.
• Providing detailed gap analysis and commentary on financial performance & KPIs for F&O review (Monthly Management & regular finance Reports)
• Preparing and leading monthly reviews with relevant stakeholders (in both local and regional office).

Adding to the above, you will support logistics data reporting working in close collaboration with regional planner.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to have a University Degree in Finance or Accounting.

You also need to have:

• 5 years’ experience in finance environment, with at least 3 years in a similar position, preferably within a multinational company
• Strong knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to provide key business insight through strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluency in English both written and oral.
