Finance & Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• To manage the month-end close process,
• To review the country P&L and Balance Sheet information to identify errors or exceptions,
• Ensure effective management of local Finance teams to ensure reporting deadlines are met in accordance with Digital Turbine guidelines, running a smooth operations team
• Establish, implement, and monitor appropriate internal controls to ensure conformance and compliance with all relevant standards and policies,
• Performing ongoing business follow-up and analyses (e.g., actual vs. plan comparisons),
• Collaborate with operation team to understand and guide the business with an appropriate financial point of view,
• Preparation of all financial reports, analyzes and projections requested by senior management or HQ when necessary,
• Taking responsibility in several projects simultaneously and working effectively as an individual and team member,
• Make sure local tax compliance is ensured and assist global projects in terms tax compliance & funds flow rules,
• Collaborate directly with the Internal/External Auditors and the local regulatory bodies. Responsible for the compliance checks associated with local regulations,
• Supporting the implementation of the local ERP system,
• Maintain/continue and further improve the EMEA business and financial integration,
• Experienced in team management and good delegation, review, follow up and feedback skills.

Requirements

• University graduate with a strong academic achievement on relevant disciplines like Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting,
• 10+ years of experience in Finance functions (Accounting, tax ruling, audit, financial analysis/management),
• Having worked in Big 4 companies,
• Strong knowledge and experience in US and Turkish GAAP,
• Strong knowledge & demonstrable experience in developing and implementing robust businesses processes and internal controls,
• CPA is a plus,
• Knowledge in ORACLE (Optional),
• Fluent in both Turkish and English is a must,
• FP&A/ HFM knowledge and experience a plus,
• Experience in a multinational & matrixed environment preferred,
• Hands-on ability to implement swiftly and effectively by taking ownership and accepting responsibility,
• Organized and result-driven,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and use of good judgment,
• Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease,
