What we're looking for:

We’re on the hunt for a Fluent Senior English Copy/ Content writer with a strong background in developing engaging social content. This role will be instrumental in shaping the brand voice, language, tone, and overall online reputation of our main client across all social channels and written communication platforms.

This role can be based in either Manama- Bahrain or Dammam- Saudi Arabia.

 

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

  1. Developing Social Content: Crafting compelling and creative content that aligns with the brand's voice and engages audiences across various social media platforms.
  2. Brand Voice and Tone: Consistently utilizing and evolving the client's brand voice and tone, ensuring all content reflects the brand's core values and identity.
  3. Reputation Management: Monitoring and managing the brand's reputation online through thoughtful responses and proactive engagement with the community.
  4. Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and PR, to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  5. Strategy Development: Assisting in the creation and execution of content strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  6. Quality Assurance: Maintaining a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all content is free of grammatical errors and aligns with brand guidelines.
  7. Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing content performance and generating reports to offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 7+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in advertising or marketing.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven experience in managing social media content and online community engagement.
  • Understanding of the energy sector and the unique considerations of the client's industry is a plus.
  • Proficient with content management systems and social media tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and building brand identities.
