Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, your goal is to keep the department running in an efficient manner, increase the productivity of the team and meet the expectations of the internal and external clients. You will be responsible to lead and guide the team and mentor them in a manner which enhances their skills and functionality.

• Take ownership of the department and the different functions within it.
• Maintain an orderly workflow according to the priorities
• Coordinate and give feedback to the concerned departments on business processes and any client complaints. Maintain working relationships with all concerned departments
• Mentor and develop the operations team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
• Analyse statistics & data and compile accurate reports. Analyse and improve process and service procedures, policies, and standards
• Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actions
• KPI management and tracking team member performance
• Continuously look towards improving the existing operations and focusing on scale.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Find ways to increase the quality of customer/client support

Requirements

• An MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Experience working in large tech/e-commerce companies

• Good understanding of the operations management

• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Managerial and leadership skills with ability to manage people.
• Planning, organising and delegation of tasks and functions
