Job description:

Job Purpose
  • Coordinate facilities maintenance activities to ensure Company building assets located in Ras Laffan and Doha are maintained to the required standards and the plant civil support requirements are addressed in a timely manner.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I
  • The operating environment is office and industrial based facilities and is highly process and system driven with strict controls that must be adhered to often with short deadlines.

  • The complexity of dealing with multiple customers/stakeholders providing services across the company at multiple work locations.

  • Constant focus on all services/project planning to ensure cost optimization in all areas, whilst catering to all demographics and ensuring value added measurement for continuous improvement.

  • Short deadlines and under time pressure to meet deliverables for difficult customers/stakeholders.

  • Compliance to stringent Safety, Health and Environment requirements related to Oil and Gas plant environment.

Key Job Accountabilities - I
  • Coordinate with the Senior Facilities Engineer and service providers to effectively implement maintenance plans for building assets

  • Assist the process of establishing supplier contracts by providing inputs related to contracting strategies, scope of services and schedule of rates to ensure that contracts are made in compliance with company policies and procedures. 

  • Assist in the development and up keeping of policies and procedures for all Facility Maintenance activities including small projects.

  • Prepare technical reports on facilities maintenance and modification projects for review by Senior Engineers and Section Head.

  • Liaise with various stakeholders across the company related to the development and process improvement opportunities for services provided by Facilities Management.

  • Coordinate periodical surveys, audits and recommend appropriate corrective actions as identified in the survey/audit, for enhancing the department performance.

  • Support HSE&Q inspections for all office facilities and ensures improvements/corrective measures related to safety, housekeeping and maintenance are completed as per Company standards.

  • Utilize Qatargas Management Control Systems ensuring department compliance and conformance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I
  • 6 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas sector.

Technical and Business Skills - I
  • Good communication skills including professional level English, written and oral.

  • Computer skills including full MS Office Suite, proficient with spread sheets, experience with SAP.

  • Knowledge of adapted company policy and procedures.

  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work effectively in team-oriented environment.
