- Architectural Project Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction for architectural projects, ensuring alignment with design principles, client expectations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to maintain a high standard of creativity and innovation in project deliverables.
- Team Collaboration:
- Lead and inspire the architecture project management team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Work closely with architects to translate design concepts into actionable project plans.
- Design Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration between project management processes and the architectural design phase.
- Collaborate with design leads to streamline workflows and enhance overall project efficiency.
- Client Engagement:
- Act as a key liaison between the project management team and clients, ensuring their vision and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate client presentations and reviews to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of architectural design and project execution.
- Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with project objectives.
- Resource Planning:
- Optimize resource allocation for architectural projects, considering the unique skill sets and expertise required for each assignment.
- Work closely with design leads to ensure adequate staffing levels and skill alignment.
- Risk Mitigation:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural projects, ensuring proactive resolution of potential challenges.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to implement effective strategies.
Knowledge and Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Project Management.
- Pmbok, PRINCE2 or relevant certification is a plus.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in project management within the architectural field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects from concept to completion.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a focus on conveying complex design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in architectural design software and project management tools Top of Form
- Fluent in writing and speaking English, spoken and written
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, communication with clarity, purpose and accuracy
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to negotiate,
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Flexibility and attitude towards company objectives.
- Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Commitment to innovation and design excellence
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines on budget and on time
- A keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in response to direction from project managers, directors and partners
- A team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating
- B.Arch or B.Sc. in Project Management, Business Administration or a related course, from a recognized university
- Project Management certification.
