The Web Ops Specialist is a key role within the NEOM Central Marketing Digital Team, balancing ongoing management of core web and application properties whilst continuously striving to improve internal process and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This role is responsible for capturing and delivering NEOM web and application demands from across the business, informing the overall strategic Digital Experience (Dx) and technology roadmap for NEOM. The role will serve as a subject matter expert for web and application best practices, influencing technology and digital experience decision making. The Web Ops specialist will lead delivery of important automation and innovation projects designed to raise the bar for NEOM’s digital customer experiences.

The Web Ops specialist will lead delivery of important automation and innovation projects designed to raise the bar for NEOM’s digital customer experiences.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Oversee digital web operations for NEOM
- Determine NEOM Web and Application needs from across NEOM’s Marketing and Communications community. Create and collaborate on solutions designed to serve the needs of the business and our customers, driving alignment and prioritization with key stakeholders to accelerate delivery
- Ongoing operational management of NEOM’s web infrastructure and optimization of web resources
- Drive effective communications, establishing efficient ways-of-working / workflows between vendor teams and teams within NEOM
- Act as NEOM Marketing’s DevOps evangelist, overseeing the delivery model and cultural approach
- Manage vendor execution of full stack development, deployment, testing and optimization of NEOM’s website and applications
- Oversee the website and application architecture, including central code, template & component libraries, documenting critical knowledge. Act as technical liaison for NEOM Central Marketing
- Monitoring and management of incidents, establishing best practices and maintaining the high quality-bar expected for all project deployment
- Manage integrations between NEOM’s web platform(s) with other systems, such as e-commerce platforms, CRM’s, performance management tools
- Optimization of NEOM web properties for world-class user-experience (UX) across all devices, driving omni-channel traffic growth and high-quality engagements
- Work within sprint schedules, collaborating with the development team to prioritize tasks and requests
- Maintain an understanding of the latest Web, applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and knowledge groups
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Functional:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as Web Manager, Mops Manager, Marketing Automation specialist or a similar role
- Experience maintaining large, multi-site web properties. Working knowledge of AEM (or similar) architecture and technology
- Experience managing web deployment roadmaps, defining web product strategy, delivering new integrations, user features and functionality
- Proven experience of using analytical tools for conducting data analysis and deriving actionable insights; experience of using data to drive improvements to internal workings and customer experience
- Experience with audience segmentation, profiling, personalization and experimentation frameworks (e.g., AB testing)
- Background in code development and experience with DevOps
- Proven experience of improving UX/UI to increase customer engagement and conversion
- Knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes
- Strong collaboration skills, easily earning trust with stakeholders from across all seniority and technical levels; able to influence the right outcomes for the business and customer
- Stays close to the details, uses experience, judgment and data-driven insights to substantiate and inform decision making
- Keen eye-for detail, insisting on the highest-standards from themselves, peers and vendors
- Continually identifies gaps, surfaces challenges and takes ownership to develop impactful solutions that make a difference
- Thinks long-term and looks around corners to serve future business and customer needs
- Acts fast, gathering information and quickly moving into action; accelerates implementation and see projects through to completion
- Stays curious; learning, improvement, experimentation and innovation is in your DNA
- Excellent English verbal reasoning and written communication skills
- Razor-sharp project management skills. Managing a complex multi-site architecture across multiple target audiences and languages will require simplified processes to create scale, while documenting and communicating plans with clarity and precision. You must be able to troubleshoot issues and bugs while defining, scoping and delivering transformative projects

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degree
