Role Purpose

The Senior recruitment specialist plays a crucial role in the talent acquisition and recruitment processes. They are responsible for developing effective recruitment strategies, promoting diversity and inclusivity, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. The Senior recruitment specialist collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the organization attracts and retains skilled professionals while aligning with NEOM's values and objectives.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine recruitment processes and procedures, ensuring their seamless implementation and alignment with organizational goals and NEOM's commitment to care for the environment and community.
  • Spearhead recruitment initiatives to attract and retain a diverse talent pool, including professionals from scholarship programs, while promoting respect for cultural differences.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Academy and NEOM's concerned sectors to align talent development strategies with organizational objectives, fostering an integrated approach to talent management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and scholarship program students, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities to support their smooth integration into the workforce.
  • Provide guidance and support to various departments, leveraging recruitment expertise to enhance overall organizational performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Design and implement tailored development programs for scholarship program students, fostering their professional growth and aligning with NEOM's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management, incorporating relevant advancements into the organization's recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects, offering administrative support and valuable insights to initiatives that contribute to the overall success and development of the organization.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA’s)

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Build and maintain a diverse talent pool by sourcing candidates from various channels and platforms.
  • Conduct thorough screening and selection processes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment guidance and support.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate and extend job offers to successful candidates.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to enhance the organization's recruitment processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities, to expand the talent network.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to onboard new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to management.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay compliant with relevant employment laws and regulations in recruitment practices.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, and talent management within a reputable organization.
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices in recruitment and talent management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
