The Cycle Count Operator is responsible for conducting regular cycle counts within the warehouse to ensure the accuracy of inventory levels. This role involves systematically auditing inventory in specific areas or on a rotational basis to identify discrepancies and maintain precise inventory records. The Cycle Count Operator plays a crucial role in minimizing errors and optimizing inventory control processes.
Typical duties included are but not limited to:
1. Cycle Count Execution:
· Conduct scheduled cycle counts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in designated areas of the warehouse according to established plans or procedures.
· Track WMS and original documents to accurately count and record inventory quantities.
· Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
2. Inventory Accuracy:
· Ensure that cycle counting activities maintain the accuracy of inventory levels and locations.
· Collaborate with operations teams to rectify discrepancies and update inventory records accordingly.
· Responsible for meeting the KPIs outlined in the Mooneh logistics standards.
3. Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare detailed reports summarizing cycle count results, including any discrepancies found, and classify them upon their types and the corrective actions taken.
· Document and communicate inventory adjustments resulting from cycle counts accurately and promptly.
4. Process Improvement:
· Analyze cycle count data to identify root causes of discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
· Propose and implement strategies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cycle counting procedures.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
· Coordinate with the operation team to schedule cycle counts without disrupting daily operations.
· Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders regarding inventory discrepancies and resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and cycle counting methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting counts and recording data.
- Analytical skills to interpret inventory data and identify discrepancies.
· Computer Skills and familiarity with MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range Between 450 – 500 JOD
