a leading trading company, is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our international trade operations, specifically focusing on tenders.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze market trends, competitor data, and internal trade data to inform strategic tender bids for international organizations.
• Develop and maintain data models to assess risk, potential profitability, and success rates in international trade deals.
• Clean, transform, and prepare large datasets for international trade analysis.
• Create compelling data visualizations to present complex trade data to international clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support cross-functional teams in interpreting and utilizing data for successful tender submissions.
• Stay up-to-date on international trade regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a trading company environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including:
- SQL
- Excel
- Data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Programming languages (e.g., Python, R) (a plus)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with international organizations (a plus).
• Fluency in a second language (a plus).
