Job Purpose
Collect and review the material provided by the selectors, then send them to the client accordingly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive translated reports from editors
- Review the received reports, consolidated by the selectors, thus ensuring translation efficiency in terms of grammar, spelling and sentence structure
- Review the received reports, thus ensuring consistency in the format, writing style and accuracy in the figures
- Review the reports with selectors and/or editors when need be
- Send the reports to the client, as per the latter brief sheets and requirements, and by applying any given client feedback
- Fill on TICK the time allocated for every assignment/report, on a regular basis
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager
Technical Competencies/Skills
- Strong knowledge in MS Office
- Excellent command of English and Arabic. French is a plus
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Research Skills
Job Requirements
Education
BA in English, Linguistics, Translation or any related field.
Experience
3 years of experience in Translation or any other linguistic field.
