About The Team
You will work with the Government Relations team to manage the development and implementation of an effective government relations, regulatory and policy strategy for Careem in Qatar to secure Careem’s licenses to operate, advocate for favourable regulations and win government partnerships across, ride hailing, delivery, and new verticals.
What You'll Do
- Process, submit and follow up all the company official relations/ transactions with the government sectors
- Submitting all renewals of visas & labor work permit cards with the labor office as well as the immigration department
- Renewals of official documents of the company (i.e. trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, traffic department, municipality, customs clearance etc.); To liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance to local laws and regulations
- To process local amendments in coordination with the authorities
- To process trade license renewals and promotional license applications
- To keep updated on labor related changes in relation to visa processing
- Liaise with all government institution with regards fines, penalties or any inquiry
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3 years as a PRO/Mandoob in Qatar
- Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory
- Good communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of Qatar labor regulations and governmental for authorities
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to build strong relationships
Where you'll be
- You’ll be working in the location you’re hired from. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you’re hired from as your primary work location.
