JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Recruitment Specialist is responsible for recruitment advertising and sourcing, conducting first-round interviews, assessments, background checks, salary negotiation, and executing employment agreements to support the Sidra Talent Acquisition program. The Clinical Recruitment Specialist works closely with hiring managers to ensure a high level of service is provided, and the best available talent acquired.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Contributes to the development of recruiting plans and strategies and their implementation
- Receives recruitment requests for approved position vacancies; place internal and external advertisements and announcements, including on the Sidra Medicine Website and social media, in order to source CVs
- Coordinates arrangements for participation in recruiting opportunities such as job fairs, exhibitions, and conferences; attend as assigned
- Contributes to identify and recommend executive search firms, as needed. Serve as the focal point for contracted recruitment agencies. Coordinates requests for contract payments
- Reviews, screens, and vets CVs; forward suitable ones to the relevant hiring entity with a summary of each candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications
- Obtains short-lists from hiring entities; contacts short-listed candidates to determine their availability & interest, and conduct initial interviews via phone
- Represents Human Resources at job interviews to provide any needed guidance and to ensure that they are conducted in adherence to Sidra Medicine policies and procedures
- Receives candidate selections from hiring entities; checks candidate qualifications to ensure that minimum requirements of the position are met, and contact candidates to request additional information and required documents. Coordinates reference checking to support hiring decisions
- Contributes each temporary recruitment assignment to ensure it is delivered in line with proposed budget and to department’s expectation, onboarding timeline in line with applicable policies and procedures.
- Prepares offer proposals, negotiates offers, and issues official offer letters to initiate the hiring process
- Follow up on candidates through to completion of the onboarding process
- Supervises completion of Recruitment records, documentation, and statistical reporting to ensure that required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Sends thank-you emails to unsuccessful candidates; ensures that their details are entered into the candidate database for future reference
- Generates reports, such as the monthly Recruitment report, as required or requested for management information
Education
Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant discipline
Experience
5+ years of Clinical Recruitment experience
Experience in Nursing recruitment is preferred
