Reservations Agent

We are looking for a Dubai-based talented Reservations Agent who will be joining our dynamic and multi-cultural team. The candidate should have minimum 2 years of similar experience on the same field.
RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to):
- Conduct outgoing calls to existing guests to offer extension of stays or promotions
- Approach customers in advance and follow-up about renewals
- Upselling services (breakfast, tours, car rental, airport pick up, cleaning, etc.) to current guests and potential guests who wish to book
- Respond to booking inquiries (phone call, text message, WhatsApp, email, etc)
- Discuss rates when needed with Revenue Manager, BDM to confirm a reservation or extension
- Establish and handle connections with Travel agencies and other partners for long-term partnership.
- Conduct face to face viewings and close bookings accordingly
- Familiarize features and location of each property to answer inquiries more effectively
- Recording confirmed bookings accurately on the database
- Book vacation rentals based on availability and customer preferences
- Process payments and send confirmations
- Record customer information in PMS
- Working closely with Accounts to ensure payments of bookings before confirmation
- Providing accurate information to potential guests and explaining the rules and regulations for each property before booking confirmation
- Understanding the clients’ needs and requirements to offer them the most suitable options for booking
- Understanding factors for pricing of each property and seeking opportunities to secure bookings
- Actively get more direct bookings from local portals
- Provide excellent customer service for potential, incoming, and to returning guests
- If reservation quote is requested by customer, prepare and provide quote.
- Answer to guest inquires via OTA channels such as Booking.com, AirBNB, etc.
- Follow up with guests to receive documents/information prior to their arrival.
- Process the documents (such as crop the image, upload into the system, etc).
- Record guests' information and documents in Company’s system as well as DTCM (check ID validity, guest age, etc.)
- Send email to community / register guests prior their arrival with the building.
- Constantly coordinate with team members to have issues solved.
- Work with issue escalation and provide reports as required by management.
- Conduct any other tasks as assigned by management time to time.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years of sales/reservations experience (preferably hospitality sector)
- Work and timings flexibility
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player.

- Work 6 days per week
- Off days are fluctuating and are not fixed
