We have developed a fully-automated system that trades on financial markets using mathematical models.
This is an opportunity to join the first Lebanese systematic hedge fund. We are looking for someone who is passionate about programming and willing to challenge themselves and continuously improve their skills.
Different positions are available for different levels of experience.
Tasks:
- Implementation and testing of automated bots which extract financial data from different sources
- Validation, aggregation, and comparison of financial datasets using automated scripts/processes
- Development of tools used internally
Required:
- At least 1 year of work experience in software development
- Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python (preferred), Java, C#, C++
- Familiar with Linux
- Designed and developed at least one application before
- Simple algebra
- Operations with vectors
- Proficient in English
- Flexible working hours (evening working hours may occasionally be required)
Advantageous:
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with real-time systems
- Exposure to financial products
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with machine learning techniques
- Experience with game development
This is a very selective position. During the interview, candidates may be asked to present an application they have developed in the past. Salaries paid in fresh dollars
