We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager who will collaboratively create and tactically execute the integrated marketing strategy for Cambridge's international education offer for 5-19 year olds in the MENA region. This includes planning for and executing integrated marketing tactics – both traditional and digital – to help enhance reputation and demand for international programmes and qualifications for 5–19-year-olds.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be part of a team whose role is to grow Cambridge international education offer, including but not limited to international qualifications and education resources for learners aged 5-19 and their teachers. The role encompasses the definition and the implementation of a marketing communications strategy for the region, in line with global marketing and regional schools' development objectives and in collaboration with the Regional Director MENA and the Deputy Director of Marketing & Communications.
It includes:
- The set-up of the marketing strategy, in line with global marketing and regional schools' development objectives.
- The promotion of the full range of Cambridge's international education offer for 5-19 year olds
- The development of a deep understanding of the customer profile in each market to conceptualise, develop, and implement integrated communications, localising content and approach to various audiences across the region.
- The regular measurement and reporting against performance of all traditional and digital marketing campaigns to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- The management and the development of relationships with the media in MENA region, including work with a public affairs agency, drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, monitoring potential hot topics
- The quality assurance of all sales and marketing materials, and compliance with our brand guidelines.
- The development and the delivery of an events programme, online and offline.
- The management of a marketing executive.
- The responsibility for the marketing budget in the region.
What We're Looking For
- You ideally have a university qualification – at graduate or postgraduate level – in marketing, communications, or journalism. You are a strategic thinker, with the ability to turn strategy into action and to organise, prioritise and plan various marketing activities on a large scale.
- You have a proven track of successful marketing experiences, preferably in the MENA region and in a multicultural environment
- You have excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to produce accurate, persuasive copy of a high standard in both English and Arabic.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with senior managers. You know how to work in and with a team, and you have good negotiation skills and good presentation skills.
- You are autonomous, you know how to report in a synthetic and efficient way, you are enthusiastic and creative, tenacious to push projects and flexible in the face of emerging and changing requirements. You are at ease in a constantly changing environment.
