Electrical Technician

Description We are a leading company in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) making some of the world’s best loved brands like Fairy, Oral-B and Pampers. Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

Electrical associate degree is a must- from a technical institute

Appropriate skill and capability from the following criteria are a plus:

High-moderate English proficiency

Process pumps, pressure relief valves, gearboxes, chain drives, conveying systems, palletisers, high speed bottling and powder filling lines, control valves, pneumatic logic systems.

PLC control systems, SCADA systems, instrumentation (flow meters, pressure/level/temperature transmitters, pilot valves), weighing systems, 3 phase inverters, sensors, PID loop control, servo control systems.

High level trouble shooting techniques to root cause problems.

Computerised planned maintenance to schedule time based maintenance tasks, as well as for recording maintenance defects.

Training and developing others in a team.

Carrying out safety risk assessments
