Palmeraie Rotana Resort is currently seeking for a dynamic, experienced, hands-on, self-motivated Executive Assistant Manager who can assist us to bring Palmeraie Rotana Resort quality of operations to Rotana standards by leading from the front.

The Executive Assistant Manager functions as a strategic business leader and responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the property. The position has overall responsibility for achieving hotel financial performance, guest and colleagues' engagement. S/he acts as General Manager in his /her absence.


Key responsibilities:

  • Embraces the Rotana values and emphasizes the importance of the company’s values on a daily basis. Models desired service behaviours in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Being highly visible and interacts with guests, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community on a daily basis to obtain feedback on overall experience, service levels, and overall satisfaction and to build long-term relationships.
  • Hires, retains and develops diverse, high calibre talent that positively make a significant contribution to the property goals.
  • Fosters an environment of teamwork where colleagues can communicate openly.
  • Ensures all performance appraisals are conducted in line with company standards.
  • Oversees all training activities in conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the Operational Departments Strategic Plans, Marketing Plan, Budget, Goals’ Programme, monthly forecasts and manning guides.
  • Cascades down objectives and KPIs with monthly reviews and corrective actions.
  • Participates in daily/weekly inspections and public area walk-throughs to ensure physical facilities are well maintained and preventative maintenance processes are in place.
  • Ensures all company policies, procedures and standards are adhered to.
  • Monitors applicable laws and regulations, including Health & Safety and ensures compliance.
  • Embraces the human resources and sales & marketing roles within his/her departments.
