Job Description
Implement and execute best practices, techniques and procedures essential to an application's optimal operation, performance and availability to the customers.
Monitoring of customer critical applications, raising and monitoring critical logs and working directly with customer's internal and external teams to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding customer's applications and systems.
Follow-up with users and support staff on requests and incident tickets.
Understand the technical architecture of our customer's solutions;
Implement, optimize, test and release the data management scripts, hotfixes, system monitoring scripts on the customer's environment;
Application monitoring: Monitor logs and systems. Manage exceptions engaging with our customer's Consultants and System Engineers;
Early morning production monitoring and application management of customer's applications;
Overnight on-call support, in shifts, with other AMEs.
Working directly with clients and Customer Services team to troubleshoot and support incidents regarding custom applications and systems issues;
Participate in regular customer service status meetings;
Validate and keep the customer environments up-to-date (internally and customer).
Work with team members to resolve complex incidents.
Document known errors and workarounds.
Identify and action escalations in line with defined policy
Under general direction implement changes/solutions to meet customer needs within area of technical responsibility.
Understand and escalate scope changes per change control process.
Responsible for executing recovery actions.

Technical Skills
Typically 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT application implementation and support services
• Working experience on Linux Administration and Shell scripting; RHCSA certification is a plus
• Working experience on SQL
• Knowledge about Oracle Weblogic Server Administration
• Knowledge about virtualization using VMware
• Knowledge about Oracle Database Administration
• Preferred knowledge about Containerized environments and DevOps tools implementation and administration for example (Ansible, Dockers, Kubernetes, Jira)
• Preferred knowledge about Cloud/IaaS environments for example (MS Azure, Amazon WS, Google Cloud)
• Preferred ITIL foundation certified.
• Preferred knowledge about Automation and RPA
Education
MS / BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering
