Consumed Water - Logistics Co-Ordinator

The role of Logistics Co-Ordinator within the Consumed Water team will assist in all Logistics functions. The primary purpose is developing, implementing and managing the Bottling Plant Logistics function which includes:

• Target Operating Model
• Processes, Tools and Systems

This will involve managing the movements of raw materials, finished goods and equipment and other materials used within the Consumed Water department. This includes but not limited to managing delivery of projects and possibly media events as well as ensuring customs documentation and clearances are organized and managed ahead of plan and to co-ordinate product delivery schedules with customers.

A key part of the role will involve building rapport with Supply Chain and Logistics sector personnel and working with this sector to further develop and refine supply chain strategies within Consumed Water and the Water Bottling Plant. It will involve working closely with providers to ensure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation. Part of this role is to also support the development, implementation and execution of structured management systems for Supply Chain critical processes.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

• Logistics planning including the development of the Logistics Target Operating Model
• Logistics Partner (NEOM SC & L) Management, coordination and interface
• Management of Plant Logistics Budget and identifying ways in collaboration with the Logistics Partner to drive down costs
• Inventory management
• Driving supply chain projects including ERP implementation, innovation & digitization
• Establishing supply process from new regions
• Monitor performance of logistics service providers against KPIs to ensure commercial profitability of relationship
• Develop and implement warehouse optimization plans with an aim of improving future business performance
• The management of supply chain continuous improvement projects across customer development/engagement and 3PL supplier analysis.
• Senior stakeholder engagement

Background, Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years Supply Chain and Logistics experience (in similar industries). Including:
• Planning (S&OP, Forecasting-, Short-, Medium- and Long-Term Logistics Planning)
• Warehousing and Warehouse Management
• Transport and Transport Management
• Understanding of Logistics management frameworks and experience developing planning, monitoring and evaluation of logistics systems
• Ability to provide detailed technical assessments, recommendations and influence people at all levels
• Innovative approach, eager to challenge the status quo
• Ability to focus on short and long term strategic objectives
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence
• Global understanding of sector market dynamics, logistics issues and trends
• Understanding of overall Supply Chain Network design and Control Tower orchestration
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
• 5+ years’ experience in Logistics in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments and recognized Logistics professionally accredited training.
• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or Logistics fields
• Management involving 3PL logistics providers
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes within a fast-paced environment
