- Assess requests and planned needs, then place orders within the supply chain to guarantee on-time delivery and support production demands.
- Track and oversee inventory levels in alignment with present production needs, making necessary adjustments to delivery schedules
- Review cost estimates and engage in negotiations with suppliers and contractors to finalize pricing, terms, and conditions
- Lead and/or participate in department process improvement and ways to implement cost reductions
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field: Supply Chain Management, Production/Operations Management
- Purchasing experience and managing vendor relationships
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and previous use of ERP systems
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Be able to handle changing priorities effectively
