About the role:
- We are looking to hire a skilled IT support engineer to assist our bosta employees with all IT-related technical support issues. As an IT support engineer, you will determine the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, provide effective assistance, and maintain strong relationships. You also are required to install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, networks, application software, and system management tools.
Job Description:
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, networks, application software and system management tools
- Maintain a good degree of technical knowledge of all our business support services (Backup, OS Troubleshooting, Antivirus/Antimalware, Network components)
- Diagnose incidents utilizing administration tools or remote-control utilities to troubleshoot PC, operating system or system incidents.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Manage domain, AD, DHCP, and DNS services when needed.
- Working with Open-source OS, and MacOS Manage Network switches, firewall.
- Replacing parts as required laptop maintenance and servers
Job Requirements:
- from 2 to 3 years of Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related college.
- Good knowledge of information systems/computer science (OS, Windows Server, MS Office).
- Good knowledge of Windows servers from 2012 up to 2019
- Good knowledge of Windows server hypervisor
- Good knowledge of Windows servers and AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and WDS.
- Good Knowledge of network switches and Access points (Cisco, Unifi, Mikrotik, etc)
- Good Knowledge of NG firewalls (Sophos, Pfsense, etc..).
- Good networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
- Good knowledge of VOIP servers (Issable, Elastix, …)Mac OS X, Ubuntu, and Linux experience
- Excellent Teamwork and Communication skills
