We are seeking an experienced Operations & Admin Manager to oversee the seamless functioning of administrative and operational tasks within our Biotech sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of critical functions, including overseeing financial operations, budgeting and reporting, human resources, and corporate matters. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the intricacies of the Biotech industry along with the management procedures of complex organizations such as Neom.
The role reports to the Sector Head Biotech.
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Financial Management:
Manage the financial activities of the Biotech sector, including overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards specific to Neom
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and recommendations for improvement.
Budgeting and Reporting:
Develop and monitor budgets for various projects within the Biotech sector, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Generate regular reports detailing budget performance and variances, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Human Resources:
Oversee the human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, and talent management strategies tailored to the needs of the Biotech sector.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, in coordination with Neom HR department
Corporate Matters:
Handle various corporate matters, such as legal compliance, regulatory filings, and contractual agreements, ensuring adherence to industry-specific regulations and standards.
Liaise with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant corporate laws and regulations.
Operational Efficiency:
Implement efficient operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity and optimize resource utilization within the Biotech sector.
Identify areas for improvement and propose strategic initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Asset Development:
Manage the budgeting and design phases of the main Assets of the Biotech Sector in Neom, mainly the Biotech Innovation Park, the Neom Satellites and the Centers of Excellence, including the Genomics Center of Excellence
Background, Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in operations and administrative management, preferably within the Biotech industry.
Strong financial acumen with experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Familiarity with HR management principles and practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with industry-specific laws and regulations, specifically in Saudi and/or in Neom
