The position
As a P&O specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring implementation of occupational health and safety requirements in Jordan and driving P&O initiatives.
Your main accountabilities will be:
As a P&O Specialist, you need to be result-oriented and driven with a flexible attitude and open mindset. In addition, you need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, take initiative, work, and lead a dynamic team, and be fluent in both written/spoken English and Arabic.
You will be part of the People and Organization department, responsible for driving the overall Levant HR strategy and priorities. Our main aspiration is to be recognized as a sustainable employer, drive engagement, and develop our people. We are looking for an individual who can drive initiatives, be a trusted partner to our internal and external stakeholders, and support in the journey our shaping the future of the Jordan affiliate.

The position
As a P&O specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring implementation of occupational health and safety requirements in Jordan and driving P&O initiatives.
Your main accountabilities will be:
- Champion OH&S initiatives throughout the year
- Support with the implementation of P&O initiatives and projects across the organization
- Responsible for payroll, onboarding and offboarding of employees, reporting to local authorities
- Co-lead office relocation project for the affiliate
- Support other departments with certain operational tasks and system management
As a P&O Specialist, you need to be result-oriented and driven with a flexible attitude and open mindset. In addition, you need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, take initiative, work, and lead a dynamic team, and be fluent in both written/spoken English and Arabic.
- A university Degree in a relevant area such as P&O, organizational psychology, or other; A master’s degree is a plus.
- A 3 – 4 years of experience as a P&O or Generalist
- Preferably bring experience from the international pharmaceutical industry, or a similar industry characterized by high complexity and change
- Ability to work in a changing environment to be agile and proactively find efficient ways of doing things
- Experience in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus
