We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our F&B Team. If you are passionate about hospitality and have experience in a busy hotel environment, then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Greeter / Hostess in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service; then we want to hear from you!

A Waiter/Waitress working with us entails the following:

• To ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests
• To assist by offering aperitif upon arrival of guests
• To ensure that mise en place levels are kept to standards
• To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner
• To communicate clearly and effectively
• To ensure that any matters relevant to guest satisfaction are communicated appropriately, allowing for corrective measures to be taken
• To serve food and beverage according to guest’s needs
• To ensure that tables are consistently cleared re-set according to reservation plans
• To ensure that guests receive bills promptly and accurately
• To wish “farewell” to all guests, encouraging return custom
• To prepare and present bills to guests
• To understand and operate the POS system
• To present the menus and take food and beverage orders
• To maintain excellent knowledge of all food and beverage items
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel experience in a similar role
• Passionate, motivated with exceptional customer care skills
• Able to respond effectively to customer complaints ensuring the necessary information is given to the right people
• Well organised, adaptable and flexible to work varied hours
• Good level of written and spoken English
