Job Objective
- Assist management in managing daily operations to ensure that consumers have a seamless dining experience.
- Supervise and mentor restaurant employees, including servers, hosts, and support workers.
- During service, keep an eye on the floor to ensure tables are turned quickly and visitors are attended to.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, service standards, and safety procedures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to staff members based on their talents and workload.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised atmosphere by requiring all employees to follow food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure that the cuisine, presentation, and service meet the standards.
- Assist with inventory management, stock monitoring, and supplier coordination.
- Coordination of promotions, special events, and marketing activities with management.
- Handle cashier duties such as processing payments and accurately handling cash transactions.
- Maintain proper opening and closing procedures to ensure the restaurant is ready for each shift.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required (some college study is preferable).
- At least 2 Years experience in the restaurant business or a related customer service function is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage successfully with customers and coworkers are required.
- Food safety and sanitation regulations must be understood.
- Capability to work in fast-paced circumstances and manage several activities at once.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of POS systems are required.
- Detail-oriented approach with an emphasis on quality and consistency.
- Dedicated to providing guests with great dining experiences.
